This is the feelings wheel that I often use to teach people about emotional vocabulary. It’s unfortunate how often we say we are sad or mad when there is actually something else going on.

While many of use have pretty good vocabularies, talking about our emotions and feelings can be hard. I love this feelings wheel because it helps people name their feelings, which helps them own their feelings. Originally found here.

This is my favorite worksheet ever. Indigo Daya is a genius. Everyone needs healthy coping skills and this is a great framework to base them on. Find more information here.

Coping Skills

The 10 Steps to Practicing Radical Acceptance, according to DBT’s founder Marsha Lineham. I recommend Radical Acceptance to a lot of people because I find it brings so much peace. Originally found here.

Book Recommendations 

Books are expensive. I am a bibliophile. I love the feel of a book in my hand, the smell of a new book, the gratification of supporting an independent bookstore, the thrill of finding something great in a https://littlefreelibrary.org! That being said, not everyone needs to own a book, you can borrow them from a library, listen to them on https://libbyapp.com/interview/welcome#doYouHaveACard or https://www.openculture.com/freeaudiobookshttps://www.thriftbooks.com is another great resource if you want to buy a gently used book.

I am new to podcasts, I have to admit that I have never listened to one. I prefer to read, but I am willing to give some mental health based podcasts a try because I want to make good recommendations for you.
